Jeff and Mckenzie’s proposal and engagement session at Fort Williams in Maine was the absolute sweetest! These two are absolutely adorable!
Fort Williams is actually known for the Portland Lighthouse. However, where they are both from the Portland area, lighthouse isn’t as special to them as the park itself is. The park includes an arboretum, walking paths, the rocky shore at the beach, and pretty spots for a picnic. This is such a beautiful location for couples sessions here in Maine. The park also includes remnants of an old battery built in the early 1900’s and the old foundations of a mansion built around the time of the Civil War.
When Jeff contacted me, he wanted the day to be perfect for his proposal and their engagement session to follow. Before their session, Jeff showed me the exact location for his plan to propose. McKenzie is a nurse, and when you meet her for the first time, you can’t help but feel her caring demeanor. She has a kind softness to her personality and her laughter is so contagious. When Jeff got down on one knee, there wasn’t a dry between any of us. Mckenzie was so excited! You could just feel the love of the two of them have for one another and how excited they are for the next chapter in their life!
After Mckenzie said yes, we walked along the wildflower guarded walking path for some photos. Jeff even picked her up towards the end of the session for a piggyback ride! There was so much shared fun and laughter during their photos! October was quite filled with lots of happy moments and new chapters for this couple. I’m honored to have captured one of them. Jeff and Mckenzie’s engagement session at Fort Williams was so much fun, and I hope to be able to be apart of their wedding!
My schedule is filling up fast for the coming year! If you are thinking of proposing, please contact me soon so we can book your date!
