Set against the sweeping ocean views of Newport Harbor, their day beautifully wove together their love for gathering with loved ones and their shared inspiration drawn from both the mountains and the sea.
A Coastal + Mountain Inspired Color Palette at Belle Mer
Taking place at the end of September, Anna and Alec embraced the transition of seasons with a thoughtfully designed color palette of light blue and burnt orange. The soft coastal blues echoed the nearby waters of Newport, while warm orange tones paid homage to the rich hues of the mountains in early autumn.
Their florals were a lush, romantic combination of peach, orange, and blush blooms accented with trailing greenery. Light blue taper candles and smaller floral accents added softness and depth throughout the reception space. The burnt orange table linens brought warmth and texture, transforming the ballroom at Belle Mer into a space that felt both intimate and sophisticated.

Anna and Alec’s wedding was filled with thoughtful, personal details that reflected their love story. One standout element was their shared passion for artisanal charcuterie. Each guest was welcomed with beautifully curated charcuterie boards, artfully arranged with a variety of cheeses, meats, and accompaniments an intentional nod to how the couple loves to gather with friends and family over good food.
Adding even more meaning to the day, following the ceremony, guests were treated to individual mini charcuterie boards before boarding a private boat cruise around Newport Harbor. This scenic experience offered breathtaking coastal views and set the tone for the evening ahead at Belle Mer.
Upon returning to the reception, guests found handwritten notes at their place settings each note lovingly written by Anna and Alec and tucked into the back of their menus. This small but impactful gesture made each person feel deeply appreciated and connected to the couple’s journey.
