Harrisville, New Hampshire

Nestled in the hills of southern New Hampshire, Aldworth Manor is one of those rare venues that instantly feels like a destination. Andie and Matt, both originally from Philadelphia, fell in love with this Tuscan-style estate for exactly that reason. Their Aldworth Manor wedding wasn’t just a celebration, it was a heartfelt escape filled with meaning, laughter, and moments that made time feel like it stood still.

A Destination Feel in New England

From the moment guests arrived, Aldworth Manor set the tone. With its sweeping views, historic architecture, and European garden charm, the venue offered the perfect backdrop for the kind of celebration Andie and Matt envisioned elegant yet relaxed, intentional yet joyful. They wanted it to feel like a retreat, a pause from the everyday, and that’s exactly what it became.

Personal Touches That Told Their Story

Every element of this Aldworth Manor wedding reflected their creativity and connection. Andie’s bridesmaids wore a mix of vibrant dresses that brought a soft, wildflower palette to life. Guests were handed vintage parasols for shade during the ceremony and later gifted with handmade bottles of limoncello a nod to their love of travel and tradition.

The ceremony itself was one of the most emotional I’ve had the privilege to document. Matt’s grandmother read Union by Robert Fulghum her voice steady but full of feeling as she shared words that held the entire crowd in silence. When Andie’s dad surprised everyone with a musical performance, there wasn’t a dry eye to be found.

What Love Looks Like

When asked what they believed about love, Andie and Matt answered with honesty and ease: “Love should feel easy.” That sentiment echoed throughout their day. From quiet moments in the garden to dancing beneath the stars with their closest people, it was clear that this wasn’t just a beautiful wedding it was a celebration of a deep, steady kind of love. The kind that doesn’t need to try too hard because it already knows it’s home.

Why Aldworth Manor Is a Dream Wedding Venue

As a wedding photographer, Aldworth Manor is one of my favorite venues in New Hampshire. The estate offers endless photo opportunities stone terraces, mountain views, lush gardens, and a sense of old-world romance you rarely find in New England. Whether you’re planning a destination-inspired wedding or simply want a venue that feels timeless and full of charm, Aldworth Manor is a place where love stories unfold beautifully.

Andie and Matt’s day is one I’ll never forget. It was joyful, creative, and rooted in meaning and I’m so honored it’s now being featured on The White Wren. If you’re dreaming of your own Aldworth Manor wedding, let this day be a reminder: the best weddings are the ones that feel like you.
