a place for inspiration and advice
I’ve been putting off writing my good-bye 2020 and hello 2021 reflection. To be honest, this year has been challenging in more ways that I could count. The thought of reflecting on that frightened me.
I think we can all agree that 2020 was hard.
It was challenging.
So much was robbed from us.
It pushed us to our limits and beyond our comfort zones.
We had to change courses far too many times and adapt to a new life of unknowns.
Phrases such as “pivot” made an appearance far more than most of us wanted to hear.
2020 will always be remembered as the year we all lost so much.
2020, wasn’t all bad though. I believe it helped ground so many of us. It allowed us to appreciate and value relationships, loved ones, neighbors and strangers in a way I think we’ve all in some way, forgot how to do.
I’ve always said, I love my clients. So much so, that you’re part of the family. This past year I was blessed with watching my family grow. Bring new life into this world. Start new chapters. Celebrate birthdays but most of all smile and laugh during a time where that seemed to happen so few and far between.
This year, you all watched as I grew my own family and welcomes a beautiful baby girl into this world. It was such an honor to allow you all to be apart of mine.
As a wife, mother and business woman, 2020 made me stop and count my blessings far more than I think I ever have. Actions seemed more purposeful and goals feel more attainable. Given the circumstances of the past year, challenges no longer feel impossible.
I could go on and on about how this year has been so impactful but if I did you’d still be reading into 2022. Words truly cannot describe the level of gratitude and thanks I have for each and every one of you. You truly made 2020 one of the best years yet given the conditions we were all under.
I’m not sure what 2021 has to bring.
What I do know is that I can’t wait to see what beautiful stories my family creates and to be apart of it all. So without further ado, hello 2021, I’m excited you’re here.
